Digital Painting - Akiapola'au

A digital painting, based on a photograph, created as a gift for a friend. This was my first attempt at digital painting and was created using a mix of Photoshop and Illustrator. This was the first piece I made on the Microsoft Surface 4 tablet...an amazing (and understated) tool for artists.
